Professor Slobodan B. Mickovski is an experienced engineer and scientist with expertise in civil and geotechnical engineering. Current research interests include slope stabilization and erosion control using vegetation, green roofs, infrastructure asset monitoring and management, sustainable geotechnics and BIM. Slobodan is a confident communicator who can deliver clear, articulate and engaging presentations, design and deliver keynote lectures, training and workshops, lead effective engagement with senior stakeholders. He leads and actively participates in a number of national and international research projects and programmes.

Dr Craig Thomson is a Senior Lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian University. He has strong research interests in the areas of sustainability assessment, sustainability as a driver for innovation, and in the promotion of learning about sustainability amongst practitioners. Craig has worked on a number of national and international research projects including projects funded by EPSRC, EU NPP, EU Erasmus and Erasmus+, as well as Horizon 2020. Since 2014, Craig serves as a Committee Member for ARCOM (Association of Researchers in Construction Management).

Dr Caroline Gallagher is a Senior Lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian University with academic expertise within the areas of Health, Safety and Environmental Management, Environmental Impact Assessment and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Caroline is actively involved in applied research that informs policy and practice. Her main interests lie in the area of urban regeneration and the role that community renewable projects can play in achieving this end, as well as the importance of greenspace in an urban setting.

Dr Alejandro Gonzalez Ollauri is a Research Assistant at Glasgow Caledonian University. He has experience in agricultural engineering and research in sectors including compost science, soil science, tree/crop fertilization and sustainability. He has designed, managed and executed a number of site experiments, lab tests and successfully engaged with stakeholders, industry, and public. Alejandro is an expert in sustainable use of vegetation for slope stabilisation and protection against landslides and erosion.
